Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):
- Yellow: Cut EIGHT (8) 2 7/8″ squares. (FOUR (4) of these are flanked by the results of the Yellow 3 1/4″ squares & the remaining FOUR (4) are flanked by the results of the White 3 1/4″ squares. As needed for this quilt block.)
- Yellow: Cut FOUR (4) 3 1/4″ squares. (These are paired with the White 2 7/8″ squares, which will create EIGHT (8) Half-Square Triangles, as needed for this quilt block.)
- White: Cut SIX (6) 2 7/8″ squares. (FOUR (4) of these will be the FOUR (4) corner’s of this quilt block. The remaining TWO (2) are paired with the Yellow 2 7/8″ squares as needed for this quilt block.)
- White: Cut FOUR (4) 3 1/4″ squares. On the back side the square draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (These are paired with the Yellow 2 7/8″ squares, which will create EIGHT (8) Half-Square Triangles, as needed for this quilt block.)
- White: Cut ONE (1) 2 7/8″ x 7 3/4″ rectangle. (This will be the center of this quilt block.)

- Purple: Cut FIVE (5) 2 7/8″ squares. (These are paired with the White 2 7/8″ squares, which will create a Nine-Patch, in the center of this quilt block.)
- Purple: Cut FOUR (4) 2 7/8″ squares. (These are flanked by the results of the White 3 1/4″ squares as needed for this quilt block.)
- Purple: Cut FOUR (4) 3 1/4″ squares. (These are paired with the White 2 7/8″ squares, which will create EIGHT (8) Half-Square Triangles, as needed for this quilt block.)
- White: Cut EIGHT (8) 2 7/8″ squares. (These are paired with the White 2 7/8″ squares, which will create a Nine-Patch, in the center of this quilt block.)
- White: Cut FOUR (4) 3 1/4″ squares. On the back side the square draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (These are paired with the Purple 2 7/8″ squares, which will create EIGHT (8) Half-Square Triangles, as needed for this quilt block.)
