Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):

• Purple: Cut FOUR (4) 2 3/8″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You will end up with TWO (2) triangles per square. (These will flank the results of the White 4 1/4″ squares, which will create FOUR (4) Flying Geese, as needed for this quilt block.)
• Blue: Cut FOUR (4) 3 7/8″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You will end up with TWO (2) triangles per square. (These will flank the results of the White 7 1/4″ squares, which will create FOUR (4) Flying Geese, as needed for this quilt block.)
• White: Cut ONE (1) 3 1/2″ square. (This will be the center of the quilt block.)
• White: Cut FOUR (4) 3 1/2″ squares. (These will be the FOUR (4) corners of the quilt block.)
• White: Cut FOUR (4) 2″ squares. (These will flank on two sides, the results of the Purple 2 3/8″ squares, as needed for this quilt block.)
• White: Cut ONE (1) 4 1/4″ square. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You will end up with FOUR (4) triangles. (These will be flanked by the results of the Purple 2 3/8″ squares, which will create FOUR (4) Flying Geese, as needed for this quilt block.)
• White: Cut ONE (1) 7 1/4″ square. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You will end up with FOUR (4) triangles. (These will be flanked by the results of the Blue 3 7/8″ squares, which will create FOUR (4) Flying Geese, as needed for this quilt block.)

• Dark Gray: Cut TWO (2) 3 3/8″ squares. (These are paired with the White 3 3/8″ squares, which will create FOUR (4) Half-Square Triangles, as needed for this quilt block.)
• White: Cut ONE (1) 3 1/2″ square. (This will be the center of this quilt block.)
