Farmer’s Market Quilt Block
Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):
- Gold: Cut ONE (1) 4 1/4″ square. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You’ll end up with FOUR (4) triangles. (These are paired with the results of the Green
4 1/4″ square. Then they’ll flank the White 4 3/4″ square, which will create ONE (1) Square in a Square, as needed for this quilt block.) - Gold: Cut TWO (2) 3 7/8″ squares. On the back side of the squares draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (These are paired with the Green 3 7/8″ squares, which will create FOUR (4) Half-Square Triangles, as needed for this quilt block.)
- Green: Cut FOUR (4) 3 1/2″ squares. (These are the FOUR (4) corners of this quilt block.)
- Green: Cut ONE (1) 4 1/4″ square. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You’ll end up with FOUR (4) triangles. (These are paired with the results of the Gold

- White: Cut TWO (2) 3 7/8″ squares. On the back side of the squares draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (These are paired with the Green 3 7/8″ squares, which will create FOUR (4) Half-Square Triangles, as needed for this quilt block.)
