Wish I had a clone.  Well, no, I probably wouldn’t get along with another ME 😉

But, this week has just been too busy with work that I haven’t had time to quilt or blog.  Feel free to leave me troll messages, and perhaps I’ll get my act together!  lol

Today, I’m trying to get everything together so we can get the girls registered at the local public school, instead of the parochial school they’ve been attending the past 2 years.  The tuition went up, and when you add that with the gas prices going so high, we just can’t make enough to keep up.  Not to mention that the dad-person would *love* to not have to make that 2+ hour trek in the auto everyday.   The girls are excited to go to the local school, as they know a number of the local kids through my MIL’s church.   We have all of the paperwork we need, except for their latest immunization records.  grrrrrr – relying on others to get this paperwork to us may really send me over the edge.  I tried to be nice to the doctor’s receptionist on the phone, but when she started whining that they were short-staffed, that it’s summer hours, that the phones are ringing nonstop — I had to bite my tongue.  I’m running 2 businesses, raising 4 kids, keeping track of a MIL, a husband and a dog — and she gives me her excuses that perhaps she’ll get to it today … or tomorrow … or Monday.  I’m sorry, I have no sympathy.  Work and work harder – it not only makes the day go faster, but it also gives you the opportunity to smile because you’ve accomplished so much!
