Are you tired of hearing of our daughter’s confirmation yet?!  😉

I wanted to say a big shout-out to Debbie McWilliams, who made the beautiful cake for DD#1’s confirmation.  DD#1 asked for three things – vanilla, lemon and strawberries.  I gave that to Debbie, and she ran with it!  The cake was vanilla, with a lemon custard between the layers…and whole strawbeerries placed on top.  mmmmmm, it was enjoyed by all!

Also, because we were sharing our confirmation party with the Pastor’s granddaughter, I didn’t want WORDS written on the cake as I wanted it to be a shared cake and not ‘confirmand-specific’ – and here’s the finished product (btw – those serving utensils are the ones we used for our wedding cake, nearly 17 years ago)!
