Proud Mommy Moment

Quilt Therapy Posted on November 3, 2008 by TK HarrisonNovember 3, 2008

Our 3 younger children attend a class at our church on Wednesdays called Sacred Arts.  The teacher of the class is our church music director, and my kids *love* participating.  They learn different ways of expressing their faith with music, singing, bells, ASL, puppets, liturgical dance, etc.  They also do crafts and play games, related to whatever message they are learning that week.  It’s creative, it’s imaginative and it’s a way for kids to know that they can praise God through the use of many talents that involve more than just singing a song.

A week ago, they performed ASL to a song, and I captured them on film:

The aunt to the youngest child in this next video captured them on her video camera, and here is their performance:

I am so tickled for them, when they perform at church – a proud mommy moment indeed!
