Do ya’ll get tired of all of the “in your face” Christmas ads and sale’s people that are all over the place after Halloween? Gee, sometimes even before Halloween! I am inundated with email after email of people wanting me to buy this gift from them, because it’s better than any other gift available. Well, except for the next email I receive, which makes the same claim about the exact same product!!!

It’s not only aggravating, it’s downright offensive! I may not shop in stores much anymore, but I certainly don’t buy something from an email. Not unless I’ve completed my research to make sure I am purchasing exactly what I want, at the price I want to pay and from a trustworthy merchant.

Let me introduce you to my friend Patti. She and her husband are both ordained minister’s. I have had a close relationship with Patti for about 10 years. They give quite a lot to charities, though she’ll never tell how much, and it’s not necessary that she should have to.
