**Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block** (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):

**Teal:**Cut TWO (2) 5″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You will end up with TWO (2) triangles per square. (These are paired with the results of the White 3″ squares & the Aqua 2 1/2″ squares, which will create FOUR (4) Split Half-Square Triangles. They’ll also be the FOUR (4) corner’s of this quilt block.)**Blue:**Cut TWO (2) 5 1/4″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You will end up with FOUR (4) triangles per square. (These are paired with the results of the White 5 1/4″ square & the results of the Aqua 5 1/4″ square. Which will create FOUR (4) Quarter-Square Triangles, as needed for this quilt block.)**Aqua:**Cut FOUR (4) 2 1/2″ squares. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You’ll end up with FOUR (4) triangles. You only need TWO (2) of these triangles for this quilt block. (These are paired with the results of the White 5 1/4″ square, which will create ONE (1) Quarter-Square Triangle. It’ll also be the center of this quilt block.)**Lilac:**Cut TWO (2) 5″ squares. (These are paired with the results of the White 3″ squares & then with the Dark Purple 2 1/2″ squares. Which will create FOUR (4) Split Half-Square Triangles. (These will be flanked by the results of the White 3″ squares, which will create FOUR (4) Flying Geese, as needed for this quilt block.)**Gold:**Cut TWO (2) 5″ squares. (These are paired with the White 5″ squares, which will create FOUR (4) Half-Square Triangles. They’ll also be the center of this quilt block.)**White:**Cut FOUR (4) 3″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You’ll end up with TWO (2) triangles per square. (These will flank the results of the Gold 5 1/4″ square, which will create FOUR (4) Flying Geese, as needed for this quilt block.)**White:**Cut TWO (2) 5″ squares.
