Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):

• Blue: Cut EIGHT (8) 2″ squares. (These will be flanked by the results of the White 2 1/2″ squares as needed for this quilt block.)
• Blue: Cut FOUR (4) 2 1/2″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You will end up with TWO (2) triangles per square. (These will flank the results of the Light Blue 4 1/4″ squares as needed for this quilt block.)
• Light Blue: Cut ONE (1) 7″ square. (This will be flanked, on all FOUR (4) sides, by the results of the White 2 1/2″ squares and will also be the center of this quilt block.)
• Light Blue: Cut TWO (2) 5 1/2″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You will end up with TWO (2) triangles per square. (These will flank the results of the White 2 1/2″ squares, and will also be the FOUR (4) corners, as needed for this quilt block.)
• Light Blue: Cut ONE (1) 4 1/4″ square. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You will end up with FOUR (4) triangles. (These will be flanked by the results of the Blue 2 1/2″ squares as needed for this quilt block.)
• White: Cut TWELVE (12) 2 1/2″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You will end up with TWO (2) triangles per square. (These will flank the Blue 2″ squares, as well as the results of the Blue 2 1/2″ squares, as needed for this quilt block.)

• Light Rose: Cut TWO (2) 3 1/2″ squares. (These will be flanked by the Pink 3 1/2″ squares to create a Four-Patch at the center of this quilt block.)
• Light Rose: Cut One (1) 3 3/4″ square. On the back side of the squares draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (This will be paired with ONE (1) of the White 3 4/4″ squares to create TWO (2) Half-Square Triangles as needed for this quilt block.)
• Pink: Cut TWO (2) 3 1/2″ squares. (These will be flanked by the Light Pink 3 1/2″ squares to create a Four-Patch at the center of this quilt block.)
• Pink: Cut One (1) 3 3/4″ square. On the back side of the square draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (This will be paired with ONE (1) of the White 3 4/4″ squares to create TWO (2) Half-Square Triangles as needed for this quilt block.)
