Pudding & Pie Quilt Block
Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):
- Green: Cut TWO (2) 2 1/2″ squares. (These are paired on ONE (1) side with the White 2 1/2″ x 6 1/2″ rectangles & on ONE (1) other side by the White 2 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ rectangles, as needed for this quilt block.)
- Green: Cut TWO (2) 2 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ rectangles. (These are flanked on ONE (1) side by the results of the Green 3″ squares & on ONE (1) other side by the results of the White 3″ squares, as needed for this quilt block.)
- Green: Cut TWO (2) 2 1/2″ x 10 1/2″ rectangles. (These are paired with the White 2 1/2″ squares. They’ll also be the TWO (2) center rows of this quilt block.)
- Green: Cut TWO (2) 3″ squares. (These are paired with the White 3″ squares, which will create FOUR (4) Half-Square Triangles, as needed for this quilt block.)
- White: Cut TWO (2) 2 1/2″ x 6 1/2″ rectangles. (These are paired with the Green 2 1/2″ squares. They’ll also be the upper right-hand corner & the lower left-hand corner of this quilt block.)
- White: Cut SIX (6) 2 1/2″ squares. (TWO (2) of these will flank the results of the White 3″ squares. TWO (2) more will flank the results of the Green 3″ squares. The remaining TWO (2) are paired with the Green 2 1/2″ x 10 1/2″ rectangles.)
- White: Cut TWO (2) 2 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ rectangles. (These are paired with the Green 2 1/2″ squares. They’ll also be the upper left-hand corner & the lower right-hand corner of this quilt block.)
- White: Cut TWO (2) 3″ squares. On the back side of each square, draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (These are paired with the Green 3″ squares, which will create FOUR (4) Half-Square Triangles, as needed for this quilt block.)
