My virtual friend, Karen, was ecstatic when she received a phone call and a gift of a memory that she will treasure forever.  If you haven’t heard about it, Ricky Tims does something he calls “Drive By Quilting”.  If he is going to be driving in your town or direction and you show up with a quilt that you have made, he will take a very fast photograph of it.  Sounds really fun!

Karen is ond of our Quilt Therapy Quilt Angels.  She has received fabric from me and from one other person.  With a heart the size of Texas (even though she lives in Oregon), she makes her quilts and then gifts them to nonprofits such as women’s shelters, NICU units and other very worthy groups in her area.
