Re li able or Reli able?
The Sacred Arts kids at church presented an adorable puppet show on Sunday at church, which focused on the word RELIABLE. Our son-man was Jim and he believed that God was not re li able because that would mean he would lie over and over again! DD#3 was Jam and her puppet was sure that the word was reli able because God was really able to do everything He promised us.
In the end, they did exactly what our #1 rule is when it’s homework time in our house — LOOK IT UP!
When they looked in the dictionary, they realized the word was RELIABLE and then they were truly able to see how that described one of God’s attributes.
And then Boo was supposed to put up her audience prompting signs:
OOPS, let’s try that again 🙂
I would like to tell you I enjoy Sacred Arts immensely – and that statement is true. But, on top of that, I just *love* the fact that my children learn so many different ways to express their faith through musical interpretation and drama. And, to top it off, the Sacred Arts Director (who is also our church music director) gets SUCH a kick out of the kids and their antics/actions that I have fun just watching her reaction to their amazing performances!
I’d say not only is God reliable, but Ms. Judy and the kids go above and beyond that description as well!
