Blessed
I’ve been blessed recently, by re-connecting with some long lost folks from my youth.
One word of advice, always remember to say thank you to people who blessed your life, in one way or another.
I’ve resumed communications with cousins and high school friends, a previous foster family and a foster-cousin…and even my own extended family has caught up with the technological times and started communicating more.
I, for one, LOVE it. I enjoy the conversations, enjoy sharing with everyone and it does a heart good to feel the love from miles away. And it’s a wonderful feeling, when you finally allow others to be a part of your life (I’ve never been so good with trusting relationships, based on my past).
For all of this, I still say THANKS. Because love does make the world go ’round.
Thanks, Tram….I love connecting with you too and hearing about your wonderful family. Yes, we are miles away…never thought that we would be from the top and the bottom of the US, but that sure made me laugh when I found out where you were at now…considering where I was at presently, too! I love what you share with me. And you have given me that little itch to sew alot sooner than I noramlly would. Never thought I would consider anything different than the Ragtime, but those jelly rolls are so enticing…I am glad that they don’t add calories! I have been looking on alot of the websites that you have shared with me. D#3 wants a new bedspread and wants me to make it, so we look on those websites together…mostly she wants the odd and the unsual, so no one else will have one like her…And after reading about the tater story…I remember Uncles garden too, I was just lucky enough that I didn’t have to weed. But I do remember the day we harvested the cherries…I had a new shirt on that was stained with cherry juice because I used the shirt at my basket.
Love ya…Lori
