I don’t have any 12wt thread and would love to try these beautiful threads for thread painting on my art quilts. It would be so much fun with the varigated colors.

If I’m lucky enough to win the Aurifil thread I will make beautiful doll quilts to have children familiarized with quilts and hopefully fall in love with patterns, color, textures and quilts. I love making doll quilts!

If I were to win this beautiful thread collection, I would use it in my quilting. I have several quilts in different stages of completion.

      They are so pretty.
I have never used Aurifil threads be for. 🙁
But I have heard wonderful things about it, so, It would be a pleasure to win this give away so I could finally use it on a new quilt or cushion.

I love Aurifil thread & variegated threads really add to the final quilting whether hand or machine quilting. I am starting a quilt early in 2013 that is made from various kinds of silk & I think these threads would really make it exceptional.

    9. Sandy Elfstrom says:

As noted on facebook, there have been a lot of projects going in my sewing room, but very few going out. 2013 is my year to start bringing those projects out. This thread collection would look wonderful on the quilts waiting to be finished!

I have enough stash to make a dozen quilts and these beautiful spools of thread would be put to good use! I only use Aurafil thread…love it! awolk at rogers dot com

    11. Heather says:

Oh wow! How I would love these! I can’t get Aurifil locally and only have some basic colours that I got in Kentucky last spring … and which are now my very favourite threads to use!

I would definitely do some quilting with these … machine quilting on my older Pfaff. I’m kind of new at it but have seen the effects and am looking forward to doing a lot more. These threads would feature wonderfully and I already know how much my machine likes them.

    12. Joan Sweeney says:

I love the Aurifil thread. It is so beautiful, bright, and so vivid and true. I’m going to try and hand quilt on a quilt frame I just bought.

    14. Katy says:

Once I finish the current WIP, my next project is a Tula Pink Spacedust quilt – I’d just have to find a way to incorporate these into that, to make it extra special. It is going to be the one for my very own bed, after all.

what A great Giveaway! i am trying to make a dozen thankfull pillows for my new step-daughters room now she has come to live with us. she is bright and colourful like these threads and the butterflies and mermaid pillows can be so much better with theses variegated threads. i might be inspired to make some picot edging for her lampshades too!

    16. Carol Moellers says:

I would love this thread collection. I have not used 12wt thread before but I would like to give it a try in my longarm on a wholecloth art quilt. The colors are fabulous. The threads would make the quilt glow and shine with color like no other wholecloth quilt one has ever see before. 2013 is going to be a year for new adventures and no better way then to start it off with a new thread collection.

    17. Patti says:

Wonderful collection of colourful thread! I tend to stick to neutral colours due to availability, so I would love to do some quilting with the thread. Thanks for the chance to win.
