The first set of instructions for my 2018 Row of the Month quilt, “Windowsill Wonders” has been posted at BOMquilts.com! This is Part 1 of two parts for Rows #1 and #9. Next month (April), the instructions for piecing the blocks will be revealed.
Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (precise 1/4″ seam allowance):
Red: Cut EIGHTEEN (18) 1 3/4″ squares.
White: Cut TWELVE (12) 1 3/4″ squares.
White: THREE (3) 3 1/4″ squares. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You will end up with FOUR (4) triangles per square.
White: Cut ONE (1) 13 1/4″ square. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You will end up with FOUR (4) triangles. You only need TWO (2) of these triangles for this quilt block.
